Frances Noble is a best-selling author, lawyer, and thirty-five year resident of Santa Monica. Her previous books include The Situe Stories, (Syracuse University Press, 2000) and The New Belly Dancer of the Galaxy (Syracuse University Press, 2008). Selections from The Situe Stories have been anthologized in Dinarzad’s Children (University of Arkansas Press, 2002 and 2007, first and second editions) and in A Cross-Cultural Reading/Writing Text (Ruth Spack, 3rd Edition, Cambridge University Press, 2006).

Ms. Noble has been a featured speaker at numerous literary venues, a writer in residence at Yadoo, and a judge in the 2007 annual writing contest for the international writer’s group, RAWI.

Frances Noble is married and has a son and a daughter.  She resides in both Santa Monica and Palm Springs.
